My name is Asch Qattawi (they/them) and I became a private tutor after graduating WWU in 2024. I returned to school after dropping out of college in 2013, and I’m so glad I did! I live in Lynnwood with my old middle school friend, my sibling and our cats. In my free time I like to draw, read, watch anime, play video games, make music and get out into nature. I think students find it easy to relate to me because of my patience, kindness and empathy. Being a student in this day and age is tough! As a neurodivergent adult, I can only imagine how much I would struggle in a classroom today. Everyone has a unique way of learning, and part of what I do is find the method that suits a student best. I discourage the use of AI and it is absent from my own work. I want to help students form strong roots in their learning journey so they can achieve their dreams.
